How do we get our class into a Khordiafy cluster and start khordiafying?

16/06/25, 21:00

Steps to join a cluster and begin khordiafying:
When your school class joins Khordiafy they will be added to an age-matched multiple-country Khordiafy cluster with one school from each other different country.

In each Khordiafy cluster is one single place aavailable for each country.   Each newly-joining school will be added to a Khordiafy group. Once your school is in it's cluster, you can go ahead and invite other coountrys' schools to join with you.

Every school in the first 7'500 clusters will be forever classed as a Khordiafy Pathfinder School.

Here's how to start:

Firstly step: Choose which year group or school grade and which class to join in with.

Next step: enrole them in to Khordiafy via the Join Khordiafy menu tab

Once approved, they will be added to a cluster

       -   of the same age range (year group/grade) as themselves.

       -    with the vacancy for your country

You might even be the very first school placed in a brand new Khordiafy cluster.

You will then watch the cluster grow as other countries are added and until there are enough countries to declare "Let's khordiafy!" and you start doing khordiafying activities together: see the menu tab 'Khordiafy Activities' for some ideas.

Ways to start khordaifying straight away:

Immediate khordiafying actions can be to

- show your class on a map where your cluster's other schools and countries are p.

- involve them in ownership of the subscription by having them bring in some foreign coins left over from travel or their own idea for each raising a couple of Euros

- make a creative physical repesentation of your Khordiafy cluster (e.g. 2D collage or 3D model)  and add flags or school badges for each school in the group, and with spaces for the places yet to be filled.

- asking them class to choose a country and find a school in a town to tell about Khordiafy. If any children have family in another country that could be a good place to start.

You can also go ahead and invite others to khordiafy:

  • Extend the movement in your own country: You can invite other schools from your own country into the khordiafy foyer. When they decide to join a khordiafy group they too will be added iwhere there is a vacancy for your country and which matches which school grade they have chosen to khordiafy.

  • Invite schools in other countries to take part: If you already have a connection with teachers at a school in another country you can get in touch with them and invite them to khordiafy with you.
