Answering the question 'How do schools actually do khordiafying ?'
Amity building interaction
'Khordiafying' means interacting through practical activities in a many nations khordiafy group, or family, of schools.
Khordiafy activities are:
- always collaborative, always constructive
- never competitive. never divisive
- always fun to be part of, and crucially
- always involving every single child.
Some khordiafy activities are simple to arrange, others are more elaborate. Your multi-country cluster decides which to do next.
Here are two sample ideas:
A. Simpler khordiafying example:
A synchronised tidying up event - everyone in the cluster knows that everyone else is doing the same thing on the same day in each of the countries.
B. More elaborate khordiafying example:
Over several months, your Khordiafy cluster of schools composes a single group poem entitled ‘Why we khordiafy’, perhaps even ending with a synchronised festive performance event!
